- Roller Bit is used in foundation driling projects to drilling through low fractured hard rock formation, which rock UCS normally above 60 MPa, up to 350 Mpa, and then using special designed coring barrel break and remove the rock core. Check Operation Video
- Original design was from Tricone roller bit, which widely used for more than 100 years on Oil/Gas well drilling, normal tricone bit assembled by 3 single roller bits for full-face drilling work, which also has drilling mud together. which can remove the cuttings and cooling-down the rollers efficiently.
- Unique features upgraded for piling application, The piling borehole situation is quite different, generally the roller bit was used to cut an annular space only, there is drilling mud there, but can’t work efficiently, traditional tricone bit features need upgrade to meet new requirements.
