Core Barrel with RSC was widely used for medium rock drilling in piling & foundation projects, which can’t drilling efficiently by conventional rock auger, rock UCS upto 100 MPa, sometimes, contractors also using it for breaking and extracting the rock core with a wedge plate welded inside of core barrel.
